PawThoKaMae

PawThoKaMae is a rising senior at Middlebury College, double majoring in Anthropology and Sociology. Growing up in Burlington, Vermont, as a refugee from Myanmar, she saw firsthand the impact local nonprofits can have on families and communities—an experience that inspired her passion for elevating the people behind those organizations.

As a Social & Community Intern at GoFundMe, PawThoKaMae helps bring nonprofit leaders and their missions to life through digital storytelling. She hopes to continue using storytelling to amplify the people and organizations making communities stronger. Previously, she has worked with Run On Climate, SHECP, and Upward Bound across marketing, nonprofit strategy, and community programming.
