NEW: Your playbook to 10x donor lifetime value

27% conversion rate lift

Campaign Studio drives higher conversion and yield

Background:

We already showed that Campaign Studio drives faster growth during giving season. Customers wanted to know how it performs the rest of the year.

Conversion rate depends on more than the platform. Channel mix, audience, and seasonality all move the number, and any one of them can tilt a comparison in Campaign Studio’s favor. To isolate the product’s real effect, we needed an equalized comparison: like campaigns against like campaigns.

We limited this analysis to evergreen campaigns only, always-on general giving pages, and excluded recurring, crisis, giving season, and other org-specific seasonal campaigns that could bias the results.

Hypothesis:

Campaign Studio outperforms legacy fundraising pages on evergreen campaigns, even after controlling for traffic mix. The product itself, not audience or channel advantages, drives lift.

Campaign scope:

Evergreen (always-on general giving) pages only. Recurring, crisis, giving season, and other seasonal campaign types were excluded.

* Correlational results from analysis of hundreds of thousands of sessions on evergreen campaigns across each fundraising platform. Results may vary by organization and campaign context.

Key learnings:

Across all evergreen traffic, Campaign Studio converts 27% higher than legacy pages, and drives 18% higher yield per session.

Some of that gap comes from differences in the traffic each platform attracts. When we normalized for traffic mix to isolate the product experience’s effect alone, Campaign Studio still converts 5% higher, a lift driven by its design and functionality.

That 5% lift reflects volume from existing evergreen campaigns that haven’t all adopted every tested feature and optimization we’ve shipped in recent months. Once they do, we’d expect that figure to climb.

So what? Campaign Studio’s advantage isn’t limited to giving season. On evergreen campaigns, the product drives measurably better conversion and yield year-round, even after we strip out every other factor that could explain the gap.

For organizations still running evergreen campaigns on legacy tools, migrating to Campaign Studio isn’t just a seasonal play. It’s a standing opportunity to convert more of the traffic you already have.
