GoFundMe Pay serves as the payment infrastructure that connects nonprofits to trusted third-party payment processors like Stripe, while offering more giving options to supporters. It also enables nonprofits to seamlessly link payments and reporting across GoFundMe and GoFundMe Pro.

Does GoFundMe Pay reduce fraud?
Yes. GoFundMe Pay secures all donor payments with intelligent fraud protection. GoFundMe analyzes user behavior in real time to block suspicious activity and reduce fraud before it occurs.

Can I track donations made to my nonprofit on GoFundMe using GoFundMe Pay?
Absolutely. For nonprofits using GoFundMe Pro, all GoFundMe donations will appear in transaction reports, labeled as “GoFundMe.” These donations will be visible in your CRM.

Is there a credit card processing or transaction fee?
Credit card transactions on GoFundMe Pro typically incur a standard processing fee of 2.4% + $0.30 per transaction, though some customers may qualify for lower rates. PayPal and Venmo transactions start at 2.5% + $0.30. Donations made directly on GoFundMe have no platform fee—just a standard 2.2% + $0.30 processing fee through GoFundMe Pay. Please be aware of an additional 1% fee for donations made with American Express.
