More donors give with 6-tile donation blocks
Test period: September 2025
Hypothesis:
Donors are more likely to complete their donation if presented with six suggested amounts rather than four.
Design:
Control
>+0.5%
- 6 suggested donation amounts

Test
- 4 suggested donation amounts

Results:
| Name | Control | Challenger |
| Conversion | – 0.53% | |
| Donation volume | – 0.4% |
Key learnings:
Our experiment confirmed that showing donors six suggested donation amounts instead of four can meaningfully increase giving intent. When we tested a four-amount donation grid, we saw a statistically significant 0.53% drop in conversion and a 0.4% decrease in donation volume. This suggests that providing more well-presented options helps donors choose an amount that feels right for them.
So what: We’re applying this insight across all IAA-enabled Studio donation pages, updating them to display the optimal 6-amount grid for higher conversion rates. We’ll continue to monitor impact, experiment with additional donation grid optimizations, and potentially expand to non-IAA campaigns in the future. For now, campaigns using IAA will benefit from a data-backed added boost in time for giving season.
